Weekly Copy Review: Frequently Asked Questions

What does your feedback actually look like? You will receive a written response (via email, video, or Google Doc comment, depending on how you submit) with specific, line-level notes on what is working and what is not. For example:

  • “Your headline buries the benefit. Consider leading with the outcome your client wants rather than your credentials.”
  • “This paragraph is doing too much. The first two sentences are strong. Cut everything after ‘and’ in sentence three.”
  • “The call to action here is vague. Your reader does not know what happens when they click. Be specific about the next step.”

Feedback will also include broader strategic notes where relevant, such as flow, audience clarity, and whether the copy is speaking to the right person’s pain points.

What does your feedback not include? The feedback does not include rewrites. I will tell you what needs to change and why, but the writing is yours to do. You will not receive a revised version of your copy, a finished draft, or a redlined document with my edits applied.

To be specific, feedback will not look like:

  • A rewritten headline or paragraph dropped into your document
  • A new version of your page with my changes applied
  • A finished section you can copy and paste directly onto your site

If you find yourself wanting that level of hands-on writing support, that falls under a copywriting engagement and would be quoted separately.

What is included in the Weekly Copy Review membership? Each week, you submit one page or section of your website (up to 800 words) for a focused copy review. I will provide written feedback with specific, actionable recommendations to strengthen your copy and better connect with your ideal clients.

How do I submit my copy each week? You will receive a submission template when you join. Each week, paste your copy into the template and submit it by the designated deadline. One submission per week, up to 800 words.

What counts as one submission? One submission equals one page or one distinct section of your website. Examples include your homepage hero, your about page, a single service page, your FAQ section, your fees page, or a marketing message. Even if your website is built as a single scrolling page, each section serves a different function and will be reviewed individually.

Can I submit my entire website at once? No. The Weekly Copy Review is designed for one focused section at a time. This is intentional. Each section of your website has a different job to do for your potential clients, and each one deserves dedicated attention. Reviewing everything at once would not give any single section the depth of feedback it deserves.

My website is a single-page site. How will you handle that? Great question. Even though your content lives on one page, each section functions independently. I will work through your site one section at a time, starting with whichever piece you want to prioritize. Most single-page sites contain six to ten distinct sections, so we can make meaningful progress over several weeks.

Where do we start? That is up to you. If you are not sure, I recommend starting with your homepage hero, which is the section visitors see first. If that section does not connect, most visitors will leave before reading anything else. Once the hero is strong, we move to the next most important section for your goals.

Can I submit marketing messages or social media content instead of website copy? Yes. Marketing messages, email drafts, and social captions all count as a weekly submission as long as they fall within the 800-word limit. Submit one piece at a time.

How much of my copy will you review in a single session? Each review covers one submission, up to 800 words. I will not review multiple pages, multiple sections, or your full website in a single week. If you are looking for a comprehensive website audit or a full marketing strategy session, see the options below.

What if I want to review my entire website at once or talk through my overall marketing strategy? The Weekly Copy Review membership is not designed for full-site audits or big-picture strategy sessions. If that is what you need, I offer two options that may be a better fit:

  • 1:1 Live Consultation – A dedicated one-hour session where we walk through your website and marketing strategy together in real time. This gives us space to look at the big picture and build a clear plan of action.
  • Done-For-You Website Copy – If you would rather hand this off entirely, we start with a 60-minute meeting where you share your vision, and I take detailed notes. I then write your complete website copy and deliver it as a finished body of work, ready to upload to your site.

Reach out if you would like to explore either of these options.

What copywriting frameworks do you use in your reviews? I draw on a variety of proven copywriting frameworks depending on what your copy needs. One framework I use frequently is Pain, Agitate, Solution (PAS). This structure helps you connect with potential clients by naming the problem they are experiencing, helping them feel understood, and then positioning your services as the answer. I will always explain any framework I reference so you can apply it throughout your site on your own.

How do I know how much of my weekly word count I have used? Your 800-word allotment resets each week with your new submission. If you are unsure whether your submission is within the word count, paste it into a free word counter tool such as wordcounter.net before submitting. If your submission exceeds 800 words, I will review only the first 800 words.

What happens if I do not submit copy one week? Weeks do not roll over. Each week is a fresh opportunity to submit. If you miss a week, simply submit the following week as usual.

When can I expect to hear back from you with your audit? Once your submission comes through, you’ll have your review back within 48 hours. You’ll receive either a Google Doc with tracked changes and strategic comments or a recorded video walkthrough walking you through exactly what to improve and why.

How is payment collected? Your monthly invoice is processed through Ivy Pay. Ivy Pay sends your monthly invoice via text message, so your number is required to get you set up in the system. Please note, when you receive the charge, you’ll notice it’s labeled as “session time.” This is simply how Ivy Pay categorizes transactions. It allows me to waive credit card processing fees so more of your investment goes toward the actual work.

How do I cancel my membership? This membership is month-to-month. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 7 days before your next billing date. Cancellations received after that window will be processed for the following billing cycle. Simply email me at hello@stresslessdigitalmarketingagency.com and I am happy to process your request.

What is your refund policy? All sales are final. Because each weekly review represents dedicated time, personalized feedback, and professional expertise, refunds are not available. If you have questions or concerns about your membership, I encourage you to reach out directly so we can make sure the program is working for you.
